Our purpose
Riverbank’s purpose in life is to make IT systems as reliable and effective as they possibly can be, so our clients can get on with growing their businesses.
We do this by working in partnership with our clients. Partnership is what our business is all about and it’s nice when we get comments from a client like “you’re on our side”. It’s the long term relationship that is so important to the success of our clients and the success of Riverbank.
Technical expertise
Our world of IT is also one of constant change. This means that we have to keep on learning, just to stand still. Our technical staff devote 10% of their work time to learning, often for Microsoft technical qualifications. Our dedication to learning delivers results for our employees, for Riverbank and for our clients. This marks us out from our competitors and it is reflected in Riverbank’s status as a Microsoft partner and an Investor in People.
History
The company was formed at the end of 1997 by Malcolm Newdick after he returned from working overseas. In 2002-04 the company expanded as two other businesses were merged into Riverbank, and we entered a period of sustained growth. After levelling off during the recession Riverbank has entered a new phase of growth.
We now employ 13 people and we support over 1500 computer users in businesses across Oxfordshire, the Thames Valley and London.
