R2149: Create a PowerPoint self-running slide show
Problem
You have a PowerPoint presentation and you want to turn it into a self-running slide show that does not need PowerPoint to run.

Solution
Part 1 – set the presentation to move automatically between slides
1. Select all slides in the presentation.
2. On the Animation tab find the Advance slide section at the right-hand end of the ribbon.
3. Remove the tick from On Mouse Click
4. Tick the box labelled Automatically After and set the interval between slides to around 5-10 seconds.
Part 2 – save the presentation as a self-running slide show
5. Click the Office button and select Save As.
6. Set the Save as type to be PowerPoint Show.
7. Click Save.
Finally you must test the slide show to make sure it works as you want.
