Today is the last day of support for Windows XP, before it is shunted off into the sidings of PC history. That doesn’t mean you need to panic if you are using Windows XP and neither does it mean that you have to throw away a functioning computer.

What it does mean is that if you are using Windows XP you need a  PC replacement plan. You need to take action over the coming months – don’t ignore the issue on the grounds that there probably won’t be any serious security holes discovered that will compromise the security of your entire IT system.

What it also means if you are using a computer running Windows XP is that it’s probably very old. Are you sure you don’t deserve something better and much faster?
