We are rolling out our first implementations of Dropbox for Business, having completed our sign-up and initial training as a Dropbox for Business partner.
Instead of uncontrolled, private use of individual Dropbox accounts, Dropbox for Business provides a centrally-managed system for cloud file synchronization of business data. Each company has a central console where they can see precisely who has which files and on which devices. From the central console, you can add and remove new users and remove data if any device is lost or stolen.
We’ll report in the coming months on the improvements that people experience.
