The inaugural Think Tank seminar on the 14th September was a big success, with delegates’ feedback including how much they’d learned and how they now felt they could start implementing changes to make their companies GDPR compliant.

If you were unable to attend, you can still download the delegate pack below. You may also want to go on the invitation list for the forthcoming seminars and Think Tank sessions that will take place leading up to the 25th May 2018 – just send us an email on with the subject title ‘send me GDPR seminar dates’.

GDPR Seminar – 14 September

Riverbank has joined forces with BrookStreet des Roches LLP and MEPC to bring the people of Milton Park an educational seminar dedicated to GDPR.

There will be Think Tank sessions to help everyone plan and deal with the GDPR regulations which are coming into force in May of next year.

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation, it’s a new law coming into effect on 25th May 2018. It will affect everyone in the EU and will not be changed by Brexit. It’s been designed to:

  • Strengthen individuals’ rights over their personal data
  • Drive better cyber security
  • Enhance supervision
  • Increase sanctions for personal data misuse

If you deal with EU citizens’ personal data in any format (HR, Marketing, Finance etc) the new rules will definitely apply to you.

So, Riverbank and BrookStreet des Roches LLP are teaming up with MEPC to bring together a series of Think Tank sessions to ensure as many people as possible are compliant when it comes to May next year. This is being kicked off with an opening seminar on Thursday 14th September at 8.30am.
