He’s probably the most micro of Microsoft Certified Professionals. At just five years old, Ayan Qureshi passed one of the tech giant’s exams to become the world’s youngest accredited computer specialist. It’s a truly outstanding achievement and we’d like to give him our congratulations.

Ayan, who lives in Coventry, was first introduced to computers at the age of three. While other kids were playing with Lego and Hot Wheels, his favourite toys were hard drives and motherboards. Despite his passion for all things techy, there were still a few concerns that he was too young to take the test. But his father stood by him and, in the end, he passed with flying colours.

Now at the ripe old age of six, Ayan has built his own network at home and says he plans to create a new Silicon Valley in the UK. We’re sure a glittering career awaits. Needless to say, we’re already keeping tabs on this rising star in the IT world…
